Why it matters
Riding with one hand — or none — looks like a flashy trick, but it teaches real balance, core strength and trust in the bike. One-handed riding lets a racer drink, adjust kit or signal; no-handed riding sharpens core control. Both deepen a rider's connection with the bike's natural motion.
