• After a muddy or long ride, clean the chain while washing the bike.
• Use a pressure washer as follows:

Position the bike so the drivetrain faces you. Rotate the pedals backward while holding the pressure washer nozzle near the cassette and derailleur pulleys. Allow the water pressure to spin the chain and flush out dirt and mud.

• Caution: Avoid spraying directly into the hub or bottom bracket to prevent water ingress.

Deep Cleaning Every 2-3 Months

• Remove the chain using a chain tool or quick-link pliers.
• Soak the chain in a degreaser solution to dissolve grease and grime.
• Scrub the chain with a stiff-bristled brush to dislodge stubborn dirt.
• Use a compressor to blow out degreaser and dirt from the chain links.
• Reinstall the chain and apply lubricant before use.
