Also go around and congratulate fellow riders who were around you. The award ceremonies may vary in schedule. Sometimes, children's categories are awarded before adult races, allowing families to leave earlier. However, sometimes one ceremony is held after all races. Regardless of your child's position, staying for the ceremony and observing other races can be beneficial and enjoyable. Once on the podium it is customary that the winner invites the other two finishers to the top of the podium to make additional photos.
